Anyone else a fan of up and coming prospect Wardley? I like his style and his personality. Friendly and well spoken outside the ring, killer instinct inside ring with a bit of bravado thrown in there for good measure. Hrgovic on the other hand comes across as arrogant with a bland personality. But can’t fault his boxing skills, he is solid. He is of course way more experienced but they have fought similar opposition in the pro’s. Hrgovic has shown vulnerabilities against Molina. How does the fight go right now?
I think Hrgovic is a clear favourite. Wardley had no amateur career and he hasn’t fought anyone of note in the pros. That said, Hrgovic has an awful resume and less excuses given he has a lot more experience. But he’s close to agreeing with Tony Yoka which should be a decent fight
Think Hrgovic is a bit too good at the moment. I like Wardley though. I think that him vs Johnny Fisher is a really interesting domestic fight for the next 18 months. Bosh!
Hrgovic KO in under 5. It would be interesting to see Wardley face his last 4 opponents without them diving against him. I really don’t rate Wardley at all. I think he is a Turkey being pumped up for Christmas dinner, perhaps for a domestic PPV HW clash
Well Molina dives all the time, should be his next career move. And then we have the Richard Lartey fight which was questionable but i give benefit of the doubt as Wardley has shown to have a punch on him. He is strong and athletic with his 6’5 frame.
Lartey dives too. He also dived against Edilov, look it up mate. It’s an horrendous dive the Edilov one. This content is protected This reinforces that he dives and dived vs Wardley
Yes, that was utterly disgraceful. And you had idiots trying to make out as if he "knockout" vs Wardley was legitimate when it was blatantly anything but.
Hrgovic beats Wardley early. Wardley was getting outboxed by molina until he took a dive. A few of Wardleys KOs have looked very very suspect. When is he out next?
Wardley is a white collar boxer who turned pro almost by chance. He has some athletic ability, but realistically he is average at best and is way short of doing anything at world level. Hrgovic stops him quite comfortably. 5-6 round KO most likely. I don't like Hrgovic I think he comes across very badly but he is on another level to Wardley in my opinion despite not having the opportunity to show it yet in the pro game.
That would be a great match. Helenius seems to have improved and Hrgovic's reputation needs some substance.
