Matthew Saad Muhammad Fight Recommendations?

I asked cuz in other cases, like with Lopez, Johnson, and Kate's, Saad was being outslugged rather than outboxed.

Well, I think he was being outboxed by Yaqui in the second fight but then he was pounded in the 8th. But, yeah, Vonzell was definitely sticking to boxing rather than slugging.

 

True, but Yaqui definitely gave him a real pounding in the first fight.

 

That division was glorious in that era. So many great fighters and fights

I wish he had fought Michael Spinks.

 

Yeah that man was a heckuva fighter.

 

As much as i love Matthew Saad Muhammad, i feel like Michael Spinks was a notch above him. And would of stopped Muhammad late on if they fought in there respective primes.

 

I wish he had fought James Scott.

I think MSM is a bridge too far for Scott, but it would have been a war.

 

Johnson's fights with Emebe and Leslie Stewart are highly underrated
