I know it's twenty five years old. Don King is just a garbage person. I wonder if other promoters like Arum, DLH, and Lou DiBella are as bad. I think a lot of it stems from the fact that King envied a lot of these guys. They were tough in a way he wasn't despite the fact he killed two people.
Don King is a psychopath who care about nobody & nothing but himself. The fact that he produced some big events & boxers who did all the fighting made good money-which he often stole from them by degrees & otherwise betrayed them while controlling everything-does not redeem him in the slightest. From Tyson's manipulation & stealing from him through Ali warning Holmes about King leaving him with nothing after he was through with him )King manipulated Ali into taking a small fraction of what he was owed...) King is a Monster.
I have heard some critiques of the first two, but methinks none are as endlessly corrupt or sociopaths like King.
