I usually do the same, but I do take it into thought when comparing careers.

To call either one of these guys a quitter is rather stupid.

Holyfield wins in the heart department but these guys were champion for a reason.

    Liston quit. Even contemporaries agree.

He quit against the best heavyweight of all time in their fights, yes.

But hes come back off the canvas to go the distance, come back with a KO after suffering a broken jaw, and KOing Cleveland Williams after breaking his nose, he quit in two fights but by no means was he a "quitter".

What difference does that make? Bowe and Lewis hurt Evander much worse than Ali ever hurt Liston but Holy never stopped fighting back.

Holyfield is the better boxer, more durable, better engine, greater determination. EH would stop Liston.

I never said I disagree with any of the things you just mentioned, I disagreed with the facts you called Liston a full on quitter.

I think I'd favour Evander H-2-H but I actually wonder how he does with Patterson?

There's not much between them in numerous categories for me.

Oh geez!!! Sonny could have been pushing 50 by that time and he dropped Martin before running out of gas. What did Holyfield do with a fat blown up middleweight at the age of 40? He got knocked the F out .

Yes. Oh and Bowe in his pomp would've took Liston out as well.

    Absolute nonsense.
Holyfield was still on his feet fighting Toney. Evander's corner gave in because his arm was injured and he was not having success against JT.

JT would school the Liston who got stopped by Martin.

Possibly, maybe even likely but only Ingo and Sonny ko'd him. Ingo(2), Quarry(2) Cooper,Powell, Ali, Bonavena, Moore, Chuvalo tried and failed.

Holyfield is better than all of them.
