Beterbiev smashes smith into next year!

smith looked like he’d been run over by a car at the end of the skoglund fight

Beterbiev stops smith in 6 rounds

Why are you judging Mundo over the Skoglund fight. Skoglund carried no power, Smith just sat on the ropes and made Skoglund tire. He won comfortably, albeit he should have won in more impressive fashion.

I think Beterbiev stops Smith in mid-to-late rounds, but it's a good fight in my opinion. Smith carries great power and he's a live dog.

Beterbiev by brutal KO. Probably a body shot which cripples Smith badly.

why? He won comfortably but was getting tagged and looked like complete crap by the end of it which says it all in my opinion.

Beterbiev eats him for breakfast! He has no business at 175 even if boxrec have him at number 1 or did have

    Smith was dominated by Canelo

    Arguably lost to Ryder

What will he do when Beterbiev cuts off the ring, traps him and tees off on him?

Smith does not know how to fight going backwards or how to use his length and reach against shorter pressure fighters.

Joe Gallagher taught him nothing apart from being a weight bully.

Considering Marcus Browne is a better light heavyweight than Callum Smith, this fight makes Smith return to 168.

I hope Smith has picked out a peaceful spot in the cemetary.

Smith is a much better and more dangerous fighter at 175 compared to 168. He's basically a Wild Card. People judging Smith based on performances at 168 are incredibly one-dimensional. I think Smith has a very good chance to upset AB. The weight cut was just too much for him at 168. That alone improved him so much.

Good fight if it happens. It would be the logical next step for Smith anyway.

Callum "tha plank" smith, will be layed over like deadwood drifting in a stream.

I can't see callum taking Berterbievs power shots for full 12 rounds without getting stunned.

Cutting too much water makes you lethargic, it doesn't make you forget how to use your height and reach. Unless CS shows he can box and move against a decent fighter any reasonable person would expect him to get battered by Beterbiev.

He killed himself to fight naturally smaller guys and in the end it caught up to him.

His skill set is also lacking and he shows lack of ideas when Canelo (and Ryder) pressured him.

I pick any LHW champion to beat him and any contender to give him a tough time.

    He moved up too late.
