This is exactly how I imagine a Whyte Vs wilder fight would go down. Dillian just doesn't have the height or speed to avoid long rangy fighters.
Not even 20 sec. on sparring, yeah they are great for conclusions. Also tgis is released by Okolie. Why he didn't put the whole session??? There is a clip where Whyte brother talking to him about that and say that he did okay, but the clip doesn't reflect what happen and Okolie was quiet as hell. Also big gloves, protective gear, sparring sessions, obviously a good CW will look good, cause of the speed advantages they have. Real match will be completely different.
First of all, it's 30 second sparring with zero context. Secondly, how exactly is Okolie piecing up Whyte? He practically lands nothing of note in that clip Okolie will get decimated when it stops weight bullying at cruiser
Pretty sure Okolie got his confidence and wants to move to heavy because he's been sparring big useless lumps like Whyte. Whyte is trash. The only danger with Whyte is letting him wing his left hook on you at mid range. Other than that he's predictable, his feet are slow, he doesn't use his jab consistently & once he gets tired doesn't use it at all.
Okolie is a stunning talent. He will be a sensation soon enough. The people who can't see that are clueless.
It's good to see that Oktopolie at least can do some more entertaining stuff in a sparring session with big gloves and headgar on + groint protection. He's the most boring fighter on planet earth. Apart from that this is hardly "piecing up"...its 30 sec sparring footage and one guy relying on defense.
I am not sure Okolie landed a punch either. Dillian Whyte stumbles around like he's just downed half a bottle of rum. That's his normal style, I have no idea why. There are hopefully some ten-year-old kids in that gym with some talent, so it's a shame that these adult stumblebums are hogging the ring. They have had their chance to impress. Time to ring the bell on them and put them out to pasture.
