Hamed did not have Jackson`s one punc KO power and never stopped a fighter as elite as Norris, Jackson set that KO up brilliantly he always stopped Graham with one shot who was trained by the same trainer as Naz and was Naseem`s hero and inspiration for his unusual style.
No featherweight could have. Sal's chin was granite, and he took the best shots of Nelson, Little Red and Bazooka. That speaks for itself.
Well if you are correct then how come he was only beaten once? Funny how you notice this so called flaw but numerous professional boxers didn`t
Kelly exploited this flaw, Daniel Alicea flawed him for the same reason as did Augie Sanchez and Medina gave him hell for 11 rounds too, rose tinted much?
I am 66yrs old and have followed boxing for all my adult life and i am in no doubt i have seen more fights than you.As for Naz i first saw him live in only his second fight against Shaun Norman on the Chris Eubank v John Jarvis under card. Even though i disliked his arrogance i followed him ever since so yes i have seen plenty of Hameed`s fights
Hamed would be ok until he got in with the very best of the division. Then see the Barrera fight. Sanchez , Nelson ,Jofre , and Arguello absolutely school him, Arguello by Ko. Pedroza mugs and schools him. Fighters like Cruz, Esparragoza , Mcguigan, Grove,Paez, Olivares, and Chacon, would give him hell. Laporte would to if he's motivated.
I don`t it takes a great figtes to beat those guys, none of them were unbeaten, Alicea was never even a world champ.
I was just gonna mention how brutal the Sanchez knockout was. Hamed wasn’t even serious at that point and still basically ended Augie’s career with maybe the worst 136 knockout I’ve seen.
It is you who has the selective memory only highlighting Hamed`s faults and never giving him any credit for his victories. And by the way you could pick faults in even the greatest fighters but the main thing is they find a way to win. Also i have never denied the fact that Naz had some shaky moments
