I reckon Joshua has gotten cold feet over the rematch. Potentially looking at the situation and realising he could step aside and still fight for all 4 belts at the end of the year.

Reading between the lines it sounds like this is all coming from Hearn who's getting his Saudi mates involved. Some sort of 2 fight deal maybe where winner faces Joshua? Who knows.

FML would these folks please make one fight or the other.

At this rate we are going to end up with Fury vs Charr, AJ vs Scuba Scott and Usyk vs Seferi.

Yeah right Fury vs AJ was supposed to happen too.. I’ll believe a HW fight is legit when there’s an actual press conference for it..

I can't see Joshua accepting stepaside money. Covid has once again caused a delay, at least in certain parts of the world. But they need to be fighting this spring rather than summer.

Eddie Hearn also saying this could happen (starts at 6.36) - the plot thickens..........

Ideally, we'd get Fury v Usyk and Joshua v Whyte 2.
Nobody loses out in that scenario. It's the better option for all four fighters, and it's better for the fans.

It's probably too much to hope for though.

Fury vs Usyk and AJ vs Whyte and the winners fight each other does make more sense for all fighters tbh.

I'm not surprised on this, based on the fact that the Usyk and AJ fight is taking so long to announce.

You cannot trust a word from Eddie Hearn, Bob Arum or even Tyson Fury on opponents.

Put your finger out and test the winds

It says AJ Usyk & Fury WWE whilst waiting for Usyk to smash AJ.

If that happens and Whyte beats AJ, he can get the amount of money he's demanding from a champion.
