Brook is way too invested emotionally in this fight. You can tell Khan genuinely winds him up. Khan is great at trolling lol.

Khan has taken a lot of L's already but I think he mentally handles a loss here better than Brook.

If Brook loses will destroy him.

Honestly have to ask why did brook stay @ 147lbs so long. He started at WW when he was 18 and still now at 35 he never officially jumped weight divisions never to go back down.

At 34 Brook was fighting Crawford at WW. The same Crawford who jumped up to get to 147, while Brook was struggling to hit that weight for years. Madness that he stayed WW to till the end.

The GGG fight never ruined him but after that fight he should have fought @ 154lbs. Yes people would have accused him of ****ing Spence but who cares. Those with any kind of objectivity knew Brook shouldn't have gone back down to Welter.

Lost the hunger after Spence. Could and should have got a title shot at 154 in the 18 months after that fight.

Not sure what contract you've been reading either pal. The rehydration clause is 163.5lb, not 159lb

Agree totally with what Groves was saying the other week about drying out instead of fighting near your own weight. Basically the best part of a stone as a rehydration limit, what would Brook balloon back up to if it wasn't there?

Hope he's got better advice than Galahad did in his last fight, he was dead at the weight after barely making it in the first place.

Still don't think I'm over Kell's career choices. Should have been one more big fight at welterweight after Porter, maybe two at most, and then jump right in at 154. There were loads of decent fights at that weight, he could have left quite a legacy there. Going up to 160 for GGG then back down to 147 was just incomprehensible.

Now 6 years later he's back at 147. Insert Patrick Stewart facepalm here.

There was a recent interview with Brook laying on the sofa. He looks huge and looks very far away from making weight.

The weight drain plays a big part in this fight.

I think Khan stops him. Brook will be blowing out of his arse from early on in this fight.

When this fight was relevant, I would've picked Brook in a heartbeat, zero hesitation. Khan is still chinny (likely moreso now) and even more inactive than Brook, and Kell's style is still his hamartia, but the weight and Brook's own shopwornness give him a decent chance. If he was ever going to have a solid shot at beating Kell, it was always going to be at this stage of their careers.
