How hard did Henry Armstrong Hit?

    Hank was obviously not feather fisted but was also not a one puncher. Where does he land in the middle?

    He was a very good puncher at Featherweight, he knocked out a lot of people there. When he moved up like most he didnt have the same snap on his shots and relied more on pressure.

    Could punch, but he's more of a grinder. Slowly sapping the opponents strength, draining their stamina and pour every punch on them. I would be surprised if he couldn't punch that hard.

    He could have stopped Ross according to legend. Hank in an old school honorable way checked with Barny late in their fight. Though Ross took an unholy beating he went the route. Much of it had to do with the respect Barny Ross had as men who knew him.
