I always thought Duran as people know.. A great fighter, but I wish he had more lightweight competition of the level he had later, where people say he was diminished. Even Arguello would have been a great fight, and why he didn't fight Pryor at 140.. Cervantes.
His eye healed in 1982. please stop using these bogus excuses. They are easily dispelled what was the reason for his next layoff 1984 - 1987? Just waiting for that Hagler decline! Thank you Terry Norris for exposing this overrated fighter! big time blowout
i rank leonard #6 all time in the 147 pound weight class which is high and giving him the benefit of the doubt In order to certify his greatness, he would need wins over Pryor AND Curry, both prime versions. He doesn't have that and his claim as a middleweight titlist is also bogus because he bailed before having to defend his title, the most distasteful career move since backing down from Pryor and picking a fight with an old broken down Hagler
George Foreman was awesome. His win over Frazier was a supernatural performance, like David's killing of Goliath George gets even more credit for his longevity into his 40s even though he was slow as an iceberg
Butterbean there were club fighters that you never heard of that would have destroyed him. He had no business being USA or ESPN let along a PPV undercard.
Thank you! Butter bean was the most overrated fighter EVER!!! I used to get sick of hearing his name mentioned i rejoiced when I saw him get destroyed in an MMA fight
