Hard to say with how bad Ruiz looked in his last fight

Style wise, do you think Ruiz could keep Joe at bay or does he get overwhelmed?

Well he has fast hands so he will definitely have some success. Joyce is super tough and has a good jab but he is painfully slow and not getting any younger. I see Ruiz as being able to win this on points

Ruiz looked terrible in his last fight. If he comes in like that again Joyce finishes him in the late rounds.

Also think Joyce will stop Ruiz Jnr. late or win a safe victory on points, but what should be the idea with this fight unless there was a title at stake ?

I see Joyce using his jab to keep Ruiz at bay, Ruiz flurrying every no and then with no success and Joyce winning comfortably by way of points, or late stoppage

Hypothetically an easy fight for Joyce BUT he does get hit an awful lot. If Ruiz could get on the inside then who knows.

Joyce is a different animal to Tony Dosh PPV - Joyce has heart, chin and stamina willing to take punches while landing his own all night unlike Joshua who falls to pieces mentally and physically when hit.

Fatty may land a few but Joyce will walk right through him and Fatty will have taken enough punishment retiring on his stool anytime from round 6 although he may even be flattened.

I think Ruiz is tough enough to see the final bell but he would get battered

Interesting fight and it’s all Joyce on paper. However, Ruiz is nowhere near as bad as the Areola fight suggests. Like Fury v Wallin, Ruiz Jnr was adjusting to the effects of overtraining and weight loss. I really rate Joyce but he’s only had one fight since beating Dubois back in 2020.. I doubt this fight happens but I’d pick Joyce in a very close fight but with no certainty.
