The WBC said that it was BOTH sides that wanted an extension too but I guess that's all Whye's fault too huh? Pay the man a fair cut and we have a fight. Fury wanted 50/50 with AJ even though he had no belt years ago. But I guess you think that's fair too huh?
All this talk of splits dragging on and on is pathetic. I have the utmost respect for every fighter however good or bad, and this may sound crazy but just pay them all the ****ing same, if the pot is ten mil, give them five each etc. Just get the fights made.
Let's be honest it has been extended because Whyte does not want to fight Fury (he wants step aside money), same as AJ, who does not want to fight Usyk. Fury obviously wants to fight the best of rest, Usyk, so he will agree to extension if that is possible outcome.
I give you below a comprehensive variety of fine puddings - nearly all 5 star ratings and highly recommended except 2. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659461
So AJ has stated multiple times that he wants to take the belts back. And Whyte's only hold up is a better %, but he somehow does NOT want the fight??? While Fury and Arum have mentioned 5 other boxers and an MMA guy to fight INSTEAD of Whyte...but they are the ones who WANT the fight????? I beg to differ
Whyte really is a fat greedy bum. He ruins everything, wish he'd just go away. Nobody wants to watch or cares about him
Carn't someone just find the 'B' Sample so Whyte gets banned for 2 years and then he gets a 0% split.
I will. And when Fury drops the belt, gets stripped or vacates it, will you call him a ducking fraud then?
Of course both sides want an extension. It's not actually ideal for either side to go to purse bids, despite what some of you have been arguing. Some of you have been talking like "purse bids" is the answer that will make everything right for Whyte. I am not saying everything is Whyte's fault. I said the main cause of the hold up is Whyte's battle with the WBC. That could be the WBC's fault, of course. It could partly be everyone's fault. But the main reason has been Whyte's demands and disputes. Nobody denies this. Meanwhile you've been putting all the blame on Tyson Fury, because ... Errr nandrolone, fraud, nandrolone, cocaine, fake Covid, Wlad rematch, Sefer Seferi, hate, hate, hate, blah, blah ...
I'd say give them a 90/10 split, winner/loser. And it has to be won by brutal KO. If the fight goes the distance, hold the 90% back, and let them split the 10%. Honestly, these boxers these days are spoilt divas. They don't want to fight.
Hopefully the purse bids is extending because genuine negotiations are taking place, either for Fury-Whyte or for Whyte and AJ to step aside for Fury-Usyk. Purse bids isn't in either party's main interest. Because the promoters and representatives who currently work with the fighters could lose out and have to deal with other parties who scoop up the profit and diminish their power and control. Or, at best, winning the purse bid comes with a more severe financial risk to whoever puts in the bid. It's more of a gamble.
