Yes. Like him, hate him, he has had more of an effect on the sport than any promoter ever.

Yes, there will be. But as will be the case when Bob Arum dies, the RIP threads will be infused with a lot of mixed feelings and straight-up animosity and happiness. And to be honest, King brought it on himself with his past and his penchant for screwing fighters over.

Well when you look at it this way Old Don put on some great cards. Yeah I know he screwed a lot of fighters along the way, but so have many others. Would the members of NSAC, CSAC etc get RIP.s ? Would the notorious Vegas judges get R I P 's when they pass? Now I know some of you will say " Here he goes again" but
just think how two boxers have done far more to hurt the sport in their careers than ever Don did. You all know who I mean, when casual fans believe that the HOUSE fighter will not be allowed to lose regardless. I'm inclined to agree with them on that point. Its so sad the way the sport is being run today theyre ruining the greatest sport on earth

This thread should be closed, I too once thought Arum and King could die. They are too stubborn to die.

Arum, King, Keith Richards, and Ozzy Osborne can’t be killed.

There should be. He's a boxing promoter ATG. ***** about him all you want, but he's probably why you are a fan of boxing.

There's people out there who believe Michael Jackson was a nonce but still mourned him in a way due to his music....so yeah I expect he will get his dues for some of the cards he put together, even from people who think that he is a snake.

The man's a shocking excuse for a human being but let's be honest, boxing was a lot more fun in the 80's & 90's with him around.
