Has to be involved with that size bid . I know Top rank is involved also but where has Frank been hiding his wallet for so long
Suggests to me this isn’t a done deal - I think Whyte should take the fight, it’s a lot of money and a huge opportunity.
I like Fury don’t get me wrong but he is a terrible ticket seller. I know the wilder fights were during COVID so maybe that had an effect but he is no AJ in terms of marketing, does fury v whyte sell out a stadium?!! Especially Cardiff? I think we take for granted these stadium fights but aside from AJ or a big rivalry it’s easer said than done. also if fury beats whyte impressively and AJ loses, where does that put matchroom?!!
Fury's profile is on a completely different level. This fight will sell out Cardiff easily. The travellers will come in their thousands, they've been waiting a long time to see Fury fight in the UK. Across the United States and Europe, Tyson Fury is the biggest name in boxing. Canelo has very little casual recognition in the UK and Joshua likewise in the United States.
I hope so he deserves it, sells out a stadium and KOs Whyte that really puts the pressure on AJ going into his rematch!! I don’t mind AJ to be fair but I can’t see him beating Usyk. I think Usyk may KO him second time round, he’s so good.
I hope so but I thought the UK only had about 20 thousand Irish travellers so let's says 25 percent go that's 5000. Whyte not sure on his pull, what crowds has he pulled, 20k maybe. Not sure on the pull in the states and been the biggest name. Canelo by far in Vegas for sure it's different level to any other fighter. I bought a house outside Vegas in 2014 and pre covid spent a lot of time in Vegas on fight weeks and I can't see anyone getting close to him.
Somethings not adding up with the size of them bids thats for sure. This forums been inundated with people calling whyte a bum....a non challenger to fury. Now someones paid 70 million dollars for a fight thats apparently not competetive. People talking of charging 30 and 40 quid for the ppv. Surely thats ridiculous especially for a fight thats apparently not competetive. People ready to accept a poor undercard for it etc. Claiming whytes not a big seller....only worth 20 percent. And yet furys not a guaranteed great seller himself. The fury name wont return 35 million in a fight against whyte. Somethings not adding up.
The train has left the station. If he doesn’t take it, he will be laughed out of the sport. Arum said the Presser is next week
