From a financial perspective he's done very well for Whyte, given him a platform to become a PPV attraction, didn't just throw him to the trash heap after he lost to Joshua or even give up on him after the humiliating Povetkin defeat. Sure Joshua had always been Hearn's priority much like Fury is Warren's main priority but you don't see Joyce and Dubois heading up PPV's and making 7 figure paydays fighting guys like Chisora and Rivas. Also it's not like Hearn didn't offer him Joshua, Whyte chose to turn down that opportunity.

But having said that Hearn hasn't been perfect. He allowed the WBC to do a number on him a Whyte a number of times. He should have known being interim champion wasn't the same as being mandatory. When Whyte/Breazeale fell through he should have never accepted that interim belt and demanded a final eliminator much like when Breazeale/Stiverne fell through and Haymon secured him another eliminator vs Molina and then vs Whyte. Haymon didn't settle for some WBC trinket belt with no value.

Then of course we have the purse bids. For a promoter with the might of DAZN's huge financial reserves he does seem to lose a lot of purse bids. The narrative is Hearn will win every purse bid but he lost Whyte/Pulev and now Fury/Whyte. So clearly Hearn not doing a good job here either.

Look at the fights dillian has been in. He's probably fought better names than anybody in the division bar AJ. He ain't doing too bad.

    Peanuts?

Whyte is one of the highest paid British boxers ever and he's never even had a title shot ffs.

He's somehow become a PPV fighter and he's never even had a title shot.

Hes had ped scandals, the benefit of close decisions and he's just secured his biggest ever payday.

Hearn has played an absolute blinder with Whyte.

He could well be the highest paid fighter in history to have never got a title shot.

It's WBC unfair and corrupt mistreatment that has let Whyte down, not Eddie.

Whyte is a multi millionaire, has a very good record, he is a PPV name (I dislike it but its true) and is now fighting for the world title against the gypsy King. Can't blame the WBC fiasco on Hearn.

Hearn has done an amazing job with Whyte. He knew it was way too risky for him to ever fight on a non-matchroom card until the final cash out, hence turning down so many final eliminators. Yes it resulted in a long wait for the final cash out, but that just meant Whyte generated more money along the way. And the whole time Hearn was stalling, he even managed to convince fans that it was somehow the WBC's fault. Brilliant.

I’d like my manager to do me a disservice by making me a multi millionaire and securing me a world title shot.

Whyte's done very well to get himself into this position. He was always Hearn's number 2 over the bodybuilder.

Is this thread a joke? Whyte should be fellating Hearn every day for the rest of his life for what he has done for him

I think that is without doubt. Probably earned more than 90% of world champions in history

Are you on the same drugs that Dillian Whyte is? The man is literally stealing a living. Twice the man was caught for taking PEDs. Now he has landed a multi million dollar fight. Hearn is a genius to get him to this position. Look at the job he has done with Joshua. Richest active fighter in the game. Say what you like about Hearn but he makes his boys some money

Lets look who Whyte had beaten in the recent past without getting a world title shot - Chisora, Helenius, Browne, Parker, Rivas, Wach, Povetkin

Now lets look at fighters who have gotten a shot at the world title in the recent past
    Charles Martin
    Dominic Breazeale
    Eric Molina
    Carlos Takham
    Kubrat Pulev
    Bermane Stiverne
    Gerald Washington
    Chris Arreola
    Artur Szpilka
    Johann Duraupas

Now similarly real off the fighters these fighters had to beat to get a world title shot

We're in an era where the likes of Hrgovic, Dubois, and Joyce are circling mandatory spots for beating virtually nobody, How has Hearn not got Whyte a world title shot before now when these fighters have had to do comparatively nothing to earn one?

Whyte was offered a shot at AJ in early 2019, turned down 6 or 7 million pound guarantee, and the chance to avenge his only (at that time) pro defeat.

Also, he's been elevated to a very intensely marketed "PPV" fighter for routine fights against mediocre contenders such as Rivas or Chisora, gifted dubiously scored decision against Parker, who he didn't have to rematch, and gifted with a rematch clause on a "final eliminator" against an old man who happened to spark him out.
So he's definitely been well managed and promoted.
