How badly has Eddie Hearn let Whyte down in his career?

It's pretty simple really. Hearn has always known Whyte is unlikely to win a title - or retain it if he overperformed and picked up a belt - but he's very marketable. Hearn's deal with Sky demanded of him six PPV shows per year and keeping the very-marketable Whyte in the world title picture but without quite getting the shot - when he would very likely be exposed - until it's time to cash out, earned him and Whyte a fortune and kept alive one of his main PPV attractions when his roster of potential PPV fighters was pretty thin.

I dunno, was it hearn who got kod by povetkin?

Whyte is about to get a shot at the champ despite being about the 7th or 8th hw so I'd say his promotion is fine.

Whyte getting paid so well without being in a title fight is exactly why Hearn did a great job for him. With him keep weaseling his way out of title eliminators, always getting favourable treatment from the refs, always getting the benefit of the doubt on the scorecards, getting a pass for testing positive for an anabolic steroid, he was able to sell the “most hard done by fighter in the history” BS and become a PPV attraction because of Hearn.

Do you know what happens to other contenders when they get knocked the **** out in a title eliminator/interim title bout? They go back to drawing board and start climbing their way back up. Yet, courtesy of Hearn, Whyte was able to jump right back up to the title scene.

The WBC (Wilder Bodyguard Council) protected Wilder for years from Whyte shattering Wilders hideous egg shell mandible with a pawed range finder jab.

Only fault from Hearn is he didn't offer as thick a brown envelope to the Wilder Bodyguard Council as Al Gaymon did

1000% this. Hearn is a slimy little rat, but being able to hoodwink UK casuals into thinking that Whyte is top 5 (and some even believe he's better than Wilder LOL) is proof that Hearn is an incredible salesman and marketer. Without Fast Eddie, Whyte would be a no-name fighting on undercards in tiny arenas.

Hearn built and manufactured AJ & Whyte into something they never could have become.

Whyte wouldn't have beat Wilder, despite what he thinks.

Whyte is one of the highest earning HW boxer, so this thread is a joke.

Shame Wilder, the Wilder Bodyguard Council and Al Gaymon weren't as confident as you. One pawed range finder from Whyte on Wilders egg shell mandible and Wilder would next wake up in a post apocalyptic future.

Someone like Whyte is tailor made for Wilder, slow fat and poor footwork.

He ain't making it past round 3, Dillians head likely flying off into the crowd.

Nonsense. Someone like Stiverne and Breazeale are tailored for Wilder hence the Wilder Bodyguard Council making them mandatories while Dillian was having to jump through endless loops.

Whyte left hook landing on Wilders repugnant glass jaw and people on the other side of the world would have to take cover in a nuclear bunker to avoid them getting covered in shattered glass

Whyte had been avoided by Wilder like the plague and WBC helped Wilder get away with it.

I mean Wilder earned his title by beating Jason f*cking Gavern!

On ther other hand Whyte could fought AJ for 3 of world titles but decided not.

Whyte is one of the best paid boxers on the planet, in part because of Hearn.

The WBC screwing him around isn't Hearns fault.

Whyte has worse chin than Wilder, in fact probably one of the worst in HW history
