I actually seem to remember the guy's name. I don't really know **** about him, but I definitely recall the name and for whatever reason I'm associating him with Tony Sibson.

I’d honestly never heard of him until last week. I went on Boxrec, and it says that he fought Sibson and Chris Pyatt.

Sorry but, there is no such thing as a 'lucky punch', if you throw a punch and it lands, it's kinda like as intended and the uppercut caught Watson somewhat unawares as Watson no doubt thought Eubank had nothing left.

You could argue that Watson was unlucky for the punch to have such a brutal impact and subsequent outcome but, the uppercut was Eubank Snrs. honey punch and I recall him rendering several opponents almost unconscious with it prior to Watson.

I always felt Mike was a terrific fighter. I was blown away by his performance against Benn, still to this day.

Unlucky as in low percentage. If you play that situation out 1000 times, how many times does Eubank find that uppercut?

Herol Graham’s main sparring partner for 10-15 years. A hero of Johnny Nelson. Good fighter indeed. Only really lost to top boys like Cliff Gilpin, Sibbo and Pyatt and that top Frenchman. He had your typical hands-up fundamental approach rather than the Herol Graham style of fighting that Herol passed down to the Ingle fighters that came after Brian

But what does that prove? Many punches can cause a bloodclot on the brain, it`s just a freak situation.

The both missed tons of shots and the punches that did land were just slaps.

Remember the Sibson-Anderson fight very well on TV. Back when there were three channels total!

Cliff Gilpin was very good. The only guys to really beat him cleanly before Watson were Laing and Honeyghan. He was a journeyman around Europe being robbed against top prospects again and again because he’d lost those fights to Laing and Honeyghan, didn’t sell tickets and so Duff used him for late calls to fly to Europe to pad records for quick cash for Cliff but more than a lions share taken by Duff.
