This was a true classic. Gomez wasn't prime and above his best fighting weight, he won and demonstrated the heart of a warrior and ATG. His opponent, Lupe Pintor, is a very underrated and overlooked past champ.
This was the best fight of the card.
The main event was a very good fight. Hearns vs Benitez. But it was a classic chest match, two master boxers that nullified each other because of their skill level. Hearns also broke his right hand. A gem of a fight for purist.
