"impartial judge" the biggest lie since "Hagler retired because the thrill is gone"

"having more losses is MUCH better than going undefeated"

In a previous post you said that greatness isn't synonymous with undefeated. Are you changing you'd position to comport with mine that defining greatness is much more than just tallying wins and losses? That's progress. I knew I could reach even the dullest lads and lasses.

and in a previous post you said going undefeated was major barometer of one's greatness

why do you change your tune when it comes to Floyd?

why all the hate for Floyd?

Sir, you said in a previous post that the first person to use an ad hominem loses the debate and in the last ten or so minutes you have called the impartial judge a liar and your opponent senile and dyspeptic. You can't even win a match where you established the rules.

I never said undefeated=greatness. I asked you why you believe Tom Brady is the GOAT when other quarterbacks are undefeated in the SuperBowl including quarterbacks who defeated him. To determine greatness we must look at a person's entire body of work.

Regarding the Hagler fight, I heard that when Leonard was preparing for the fight. He sparred vs Quincy Taylor who beat Julian Jackson.

Apparently Taylor hit Leonard so hard, he was out cold on his feet.

I believe Leonard said that was a wake up call that he could not trade with Hagler.

    an entire body of work?

    YOU said it yourself! LOL!

that's what I've done when I bring up Norris & Camacho

why then does Louden go coo coo for cocoa puffs when I bring it up???

and why do you go along with him saying he's got ME on the run???

without realizing it, you have actually strengthened my position and must concede

LMFAO. Are we really judging fighters by how they did in training?

No, it's the consensus of Maweather fanboys that Mayweather does EVERYTHING better than Leonard. Leonard is a better offensive fighter, better combination puncher, and is better at finishing off hurt opponents.

    Walked right into that one:

The greatest welterweight boxers of the past 50 years: Where do Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao rank?

They rank behind Sugar Ray Leonard.

    1. Sugar Ray Leonard: The 1976 Olympic gold medalist doesn't top this list because he accomplished the most as a welterweight during a career that saw him step away from the sport (and the division for good) at 26 due to an eye injury before launching multiple comebacks. Leonard gets the nod because he was the perfect combination of speed, power, IQ, stardom and an uncanny ability to rise to the occasion when it mattered most. From winning his first title by stopping unbeaten Wilfred Benitez in 1979 to his dramatic exit three years later, Leonard owned both the division and the sport. He rebounded from defeat against Roberto Duran by forcing his heated rival to quit five months later. Leonard also rallied on the scorecards to stop unbeaten Thomas Hearns in their 1981 unification fight.

I'm not a fan of Mayweather's although I did enjoy his fights at Super Featherweight/Lightweight.

But the people criticising Mayweather, for this and that Leonard is also guilty of doing the samething.

He made the fight with Lalonde at catchweight, so it would be to his benefit no different to Mayweather/Canelo.

Leonard waited years to rematch Hearns, and only chose to fight him again. After seeing Hearns get KO'ed by Barkley, and go life and death vs James Kinchen.

The point I'm trying to make, is you can pick holes in anything, they're both great fighters.

I believe Leonard would edge a fight between them at Jr Middleweight/Middleweight. Because Mayweather is too small in my opinion.

    That's just my two cents
