Why? Foreman still had his power at age 45. That meant he had a chance of winning any fight.

I only really wanna go off wins I have footage of for now otherwise I’d be thinking for hours.

I’ve always held the following wins very highly:

    Duran beating Leonard
    Rose beating Harada
    Douglas beating Tyson

When factoring in context and controversy free. “Prime Tyson” is seen as invincible and not human, so you gotta put Buster smashing him in his prime up there, to hell with all the excuses. Rose, as a teen, on three weeks’ notice to beat Harada on points in Japan speaks for itself as does Duran taking down a prime Leonard.

Louis KO Schmeling...considering that Schmeling had brutally KO'd Louis before and with all the pressure on Louis
(met with President Roosevelt before the match!) I can't think of a more impressive victory.

Dempsey over Willard. You guys weren't impressed?

I got told when Rose came back from Japan with the title parties ensued all over Melbourne and it was the height of boxing passion down under. This is just from boxing people around back then, I think it was a riveting period of boxing for us Aussies and I think in terms of "Wunderkind wins" Lionel's is unmatched no doubt in my mind. Fammo is still kicking around in Frankston actually and largely goes unrecognized, maybe you could find a way to contact him.

I’ve spoke to him and his wife on the phone. I’ve got a couple friends over there who are good friends with the Famechons and were friends with Lionel and are still friends with his family. My friend got me an on-site original Famechon-Harada poster and had it signed by both men.

Louis win over schmeling. Louis avenged his only loss and in one of the most dominant HW matches of all time not to mention the pressure of WW2 with Louis representation the free world and Schmeling the Nazis.

Maybe I'm crazy but I've always felt Louis's best win was Walcott 2 not Schmeling 2. A past his best Louis pulling off a come from behind KO against an opponent who many thought beat him the first time. Don't forget that this fight made Louis accomplish something no one else has done in 74 years. I also view Walcott from the second fight as a better fighter in general compared to the Schmeling of the second fight.

Think about it .... Michael Moorer is a southpaw ...so every fighter he ever fought was trying to land the right hand ...he and Teddy Atlas knew Foreman only had a punchers chance ...Atlas was practically begging him to stay away from it ...what are the odds that George lands that shot ?

Medel-Harada is another good example tho, no one has knocked out Harada in his prime brutally like that. Not even Jofre

That was only due to a lucky punch.

A lucky punch? If you mean Foreman was losing on the scorecards until one of the best knockout punchers in heavyweight history starched Moorer, then yes, it was a lucky punch.
