He did have to fight Usyk, otherwise he would have been stripped and we are all well aware of his quest to be “undisputed.” Hearn and Joshua harped on about that constantly, before his clear loss, last September.

No huge revelations. Whyte is taking the Fury fight. The Warren purse bid isn’t a true number as they’ve already done a (lower) deal with Fury so they could make an artificially inflated bid to win the rights. I did find it interesting when talking about AJ Usyk “You haven’t started work with your new trainer yet” to which AJ responded “I’ll beat him without a trainer” which raises more questions about McCracken’s future involvement. If Joshua didn't want to take the step aside, why did Hearn keep going back to negotiate step aside money lol? Hearn is very good at spinning half truths to shift the blame onto Fury.
That raises the question of how much will Fury be getting? And furthermore, how much that equates to as a percentage? If Fury's fee is actually a lot lower than the bid suggests, then Whyte's percentage is actually a lot higher than 20. If Fury's fee is not a lot lower, then Hearn's bid wouldn't have won in an open battle anyway, since we saw how much of a gulf there was between the bids. So whatever way you look at it, it seems obvious that Fury's promoters always were prepared to give Whyte a very good deal.
