Show me a fighter that doesn't - he then amps everything up for the cameras with his little smug grin, flashy dress etc It's designed to wind people up just like his old man. How you can you not see that?

 

Sorry, but that’s just him. Sure, he wore a ridiculous outfit to “the gloves are off” by proxy of “lapping it up”. It’s no different to blokes sporting tashes for “Movember” without collecting donations.

Only recently has Eubank caught on to this. For 95% of his career he didnt lap it up, and actually took his “coolness” seriously. I remember the days he would wear those Armani skin tight underwear t-shirts like your local club gimps.

You’d have to be simple to think that Sr dresses up just to wind people up. He literally dresses up like that to go to a supermarket. Is he trying to wind people up every day in life when the cameras aren’t rolling? Sr is an eccentric character, somewhat authentic despite milking it a bit. Jr is just your run of the mill rich boy who loves designer gear and takes his appearance too seriously. Did he also get beard implants and a hairline tattoo to wind people up, or is it because he’s a vain man who loves himself and constantly tries to look cool?

I think it's mostly an act, guaranteed to get folk raging and paying to see someone knock some sense into him. Floyd wrote the book he read.

Williams should win this fight, he probably hits harder and is the better all-round boxer, plus Eubank's existing stylistic identity crisis is especially pronounced under Roy Jones. But Williams is the kind of guy who finds ways to lose in his higher profile assignments, seems to sorely lack in big-time temperament, so I have no confidence in him.

 

I want his coat. Think I'd look great in it.
