They should not have to when the business knows that it is collecting £7.99 per mug for zero sport that month - it should automatically not collect subs for that month.
It's not an issue in the slightest. Far more people watch 'appointment to view' programmes like soap operas than sport, and their viewing isn't remotely spoiled by someone watching on iPlayer vs someone on broadcast being 10 seconds behind the big ending. Sport has problems with bookies, but they artificially delay bets in case you happen to be a wee bit behind a stream before you risk your bet. I worked on YouView for a while - people don't even know they're using streaming half the time because the channels are delivered via programme guide. Some are broadcast (Freeview) but most on services like BT Sport are streamed. Some people will always use dodgy boxes and streaming sites but Sky's numbers have never really suffered even when On Digital was hacked and basically being given away for £1 on eBay. They're not going to start now.
Try watching Liverpool v Everton etc one min behind the live stream and see your phone pounded by messages by Toffee Turd when a goal goes in. Nothing better than watching live sport with only a 5 sec delay.
Sky Sports Racing and Betfair can be fun. Betfair has one go to 1000 and then you see it fall 10 seconds later. Lads on course got the lot
And what about the areas of the UK where the population don't have access to fibre broadband. DAZN app on a smart TV would mean nothing for them.
It will never be one contract but the ability for a broadcaster to take rights in territories that do not buy the rights will make up shortfalls. If the platform is strong enough
Edwardo Earn announced that he is retiring in 2029 when he reaches 50 at the latest, maybe before - he is no Bob Arum
This content is protected Hilarious Frank was one of the reasons. For as much as Eddie thinks he is irrelevant. Frank is one tough old ****. When an Amargedon finally hits, Frank will still be there punching
Neither would any steaming service. Having a TV channel because a large minority don't have fibre would be ridiculous. That's not just DAZN, but espn +, discovery + etc. They are streaming services which would be unaccessible to some but those companies can't just wait until fibre is avaliable to all the populations they operate in.
Could be but MMA is very much UFC. Most people that watch ufc do not even know other promotions exist.
