Jacobs vs Ryder

Shows how badly it has been promoted I suppose, I knew the fight was on of course but had no idea it is on in 6 days time such has been the general lack of promotion and talk about it.

 

Jacobs is definitely past his best and Ryder seems to be on his best ever form so if he can't beat Jacobs now not sure he ever will. Really hope he does it, deserves a big win

 

Considering Jacobs was going to be an American superstar.... that project has gone well.

Think Ryder really should win this.

Very underwhelming undercard the Felix Cash fight the only decent one.

 

Jacobs is 8/11 and Ryder is 6/5.

Tempted to bet on Jacobs, not sure DJ is as finished as people are making him out to be.

 

Although Jacobs has declined, he should still beat Ryder.

 

At last a card for the DAZN UK subscribers to watch this weekend - not a game changed card again but I am sure E. Earn will be working on some HUGE fights for DAZN UK Box Office

 

Very weird because it’s a great fight and deserves to be promoted.

All things considered it does seem like a genuine 50/50.

I definitely won’t be confident picking a winner.

Jacobs has had 1 fight since 2019 and looked terrible!!!

Must be Ryders time to shine, but I wouldn’t be comfortable picking him

 

I wonder if Jacobs is happy with his situation at DAZN. Maybe he wanted it to go like this or maybe he needs a better promoter.

 

I fancy Jacobs heavily here. I think again levels with show.

 

Ryder is massively overrated because he did better than expected against Smith.

If Jacobs still has some in the tank then he outclasses Ryder imo.

 

Now it's also hard after Eubank Jr vs Williams which has received massive coverage and publicity everywhere. I´m hoping for a good Matchroom Event on Saturday even though it does not look fantastic on paper. BUT we are getting something back for 7,99

 

I agree. If Jacobs has a little left in the tank, he wins easily. In fact, I'm a little shocked that people talk about this fight as a 50-50 match up.

By the way, MTK has a show on Friday night so it looks like it will be a nice weekend

 

This is a really good fight. It’s a 50/50 at this stage of their careers and their styles should make for a really exciting match-up.

I’m still unsure on who I’m picking… Prime for prime Jacobs is a level above but he’s slowing down now. Ryder still on the up and hungry for a world title.

 

No hype at all for this one. Once again Edward missing the Sky hype machine to promote his shows.
I am intrigued by the main event and hope Ryder wins. I feel he beat Smith.
