Louis was a superb technician. You want to argue the very best big guys of today might or would beat him go ahead.
But anyone who cannot recognize his efficiency in drawing folks in & landing blistering combinations or see the economy & skill in his "slow" footwork is just a slave to automatically prefering more modern or bigger people.

The mirror-image of folks who insist that say HWs who weighed in the 180's would beat everyone in history.
Just as ideologically based, biased, oppose to all available evidnence- & foolish.

The same experts believe Louis would beat Wladimir Klitschko. So much expertise!

Sure, it takes a Dave Allen or a kickboxer to be a sparring partner now. No way could Joe Louis make the nonexistent standard to be a sparring partner.

You keep saying this and repeating it over and over in dozens of posts but you have yet to elaborate on why.

Do a break down. Analyze their skills and abilities and explain why you think it would be so 1-sided.

Sparring partners need to have some semblance to the opposition you would face in the ring.

Which is why Tyson Fury and Usyk both sparred with Dave Allen.

Louis didn't struggle with the power of Conn.

He struggled with his slippery defence , speed and nimble footwork. Povetkin brings none of these assets

But Louis brings what Huck brought only 10x more effectively . Based on that Huck fight , Povetkin would get absolutely annihilated

I am not, but I would need the opinion of a professional to change mine.

Louis has zero relatable skills. From the era of dinosaurs. Allen at least learnt (whatever he did) in this era.

    Yep
Yep, Povetkin does. Try and watch a Povetkin fight sometime.
Louis swings wildly, rabbit punches and leans on the necks of fighters?

    Only in Dinoland.
