Katie Taylor ducking the 12 x 3’s smoke?

IFL just posted a video on YouTube from the Taylor-Serrano London press conference and Amanda Serrano called for this fight to be the one that really reaches equality in men and women’s boxing by making it 12 x 3 minute rounds. Taylor didn’t seem to like the idea at all and said “it’s already iconic enough.”

Taylor worried that if it’s 12 x 3’s Serrano has the better engine and style for that? It seems so.

 

I think everyone knows why Serrano wants that and Taylor doesn't.
But women's boxing needs to go that route sometimes.

I hope she doesn't have balls, does the world really need proof?.... the answer is yes, yes it does. I wanna see it for myself.

 

The presence of balls would be less of a prohibitive dealbreaker for me than her opening her mouth.

Exactly the fight is already signed you can't go adding in new stipulations.

 

12 x 3 is too big of a jump, but would like to see them test 8 x 3 and 10 x 3 for starters.
