The rate the price is inflating on PPV’s Hearn’s ‘working class Torys’ will soon be belittling people saying it’s only the price of a Dominos, a few pints, 50 bag, lappys, kebab, hotel room, brass, taxi home, kicked back out and taxi to your ma’s. Remember them early Hearn PPVs. £15/16.95. I think it was still that price circa 2015/16. £25 quid the going rate now. Every time there’s an above average big fight they put it up and the mugs pay it. Idiots, as they’ll never ever put it back down again then. Wouldn’t surprise me if Joshua Usyk or Fury Whyte is £30. That’ll basically be a 100% price hike in 6 years from something that took about 30 odd years (isn’t it?) to get to that price.

Not sure how Hearn has anything to do with the Fury v Whyte ppv price

    Haha. What?

Hearn is the one who spews this shite and his mugs repeat it over and over again as if it’s gospel. BT were not putting on any boxing I don’t think, certainly not PPVs at the time Hearn started hiking the price of the PPVs. So when BT enter the game they’re not going to say well only charge you 15 quid are they? His mugs are happy to pay the price for the BT ones too.

Are you one of his working class Tory boys?

But I thought Apples and Pears was the reason for good viewing figures?

You can't blame Hearn for everything lol.

What BT charge for ppv has nothing to do with Hearn and you just don't want to criticise Warren so it has to be Hearns fault.

BT could undercut sky if they wanted.

UFC have a ppv price which is less than boxing in the US. They could charge the same if they wanted but choose not to.

What BT charge is on BT

It's very good but it's not really a fair comparison as the fight was free to anyone with a Sky subscription instead of just sky sports subscribers.

Eubank does have an appeal though to people who like him and hate him

As the poster said above it’s nothing to do with Hearn. BT will charge whatever they feel will make them the most money be that £15, £30, or £100. Whatever Hearn and matchroom have charged in the past is irrelevant.

I wasn’t really getting at Hearn initially, although I stand by my point about he started the inflation. I was getting at the muppets who justify the prices because it makes them feel better off than others. Along with people who follow Sir Ed blindly. I have no preference to either of them because my I’m not brain dead.

Not irrelevant at all - if Box Office was £9.99 pre Earn and £25.99 post Earn then it is almost certain that the Box Office price will equal or exceed the Earn price.

The price of a pint now says it all. Jesus Christ, I sound old but I’m really not. Started drinking in pubs illegally of course about 14 years ago. The price of a Fosters now is about a quid dearer than a proper beer was back then. ‘Gentrification’ is extortion in disguise. Poor people thinks it’s a good thing because apparently something exactly the same that has been decorated is progress. All it’s doing is getting ‘hipsters’ into your old haunts whilst they get depressed drinking at home and all the arl ones die of loneliness due to lack of socialisation.
