Box office wasn’t £9.99 pre earn. We were paying £15-£20 to watch Hatton on ppv 15 years ago. A figure which had risen from the £10 cost of Lewis Tyson. Haye v wlad was also either £15 or £20 I believe which was at least 10 years ago now. All of these fights took place a long time before fast Eddie started doing ppv. It also works out at roughly a £10 increase every 10 years which is inline with what we are paying now.
the aussies pack them cans of **** out asap wont touch it i have to laugh at some of my fellow English others
Was in Germany for the Haye v Wlad fight which was FREE on German TV while the UK Sly Box Office mugths were poked. I believe that due to technical issues, the fight was eventually free for all.
Sky Sports doing really dishonest communications post-Matchroom with the viewing figures. They make fights free and then boast that they're breaking records. It started already with that crappy Hughie vs Hammer card.
Shocked that the numbers are decent when it’s on normal sky and there’s a decent fight topping the bill
It was shown to all Sky subscribers so no real shock it did good numbers. Sky’s boxing strategy going forward seems to be four to six PPVs a year so we may see more promotions like this.
