Sumo wrestlers are really strong with good stamina under all that fat.

I don't care if Fury looks like Rikishi going into his next fight, he'll still be ready for war.

That's pretty standard shape for Fury.

And you want this guy to go 12 rounds with Usyk ? I don't see it.

He looks probably around 300lbs, that's clearly not good but we've seen him do this before, show up fat to camp, then show up fat for the fight and still wins.

He obviously has lost focus since winning the 2nd Wilder fight, we won't see Fury at his peak against Whyte and may never do again but it will be more than enough to beat Whyte. Remember Whyte had 2 close fights with Chisora and a fat Fury made Chisora quit.

I'd be more concerned if he showed up for camp like this against Uysk, who's speed and movement would be far more problematic against a heavier Fury.

Surely these sorts of threads have been done to death at this point?

It's the 9nd of Feb and he's out in Dubai for training camp - for a fight which is at the end of April. He will be in good condition for the fight. The fight likely isnt for another 12-13 weeks.

Fury doesn't need to look body beautiful to be able to go 12 rounds.

I can guarentee Fury won't be looking to go 12 rounds with Usyk, he will be looking to get him out of there.

Usyk is too small to last 12 rounds with Fury.

Doesn't matter if the body shots are just bouncing off. Having the amount of padding Fury has actually helps with body shots, rather than being ripped with 0 body fat.

When you take a look at all the resumes at HW, Fury’s win over 39 year old Wlad is probably the only one that comes close to being a win over an “elite prime fighter”,(I realize Wlad was old, that’s why the phrase “comes close to being”)Usyk’s win over Joshua is the second. That’s just the state of the division.

Looks very fast and fluid. Surely he is a phat phuck but he will be in decent shape for his next fight.

He could not KO tired Wilder for 7 rounds in the last fight, what makes you think that fast, fresh Usyk, that has great gas tank, will have problems with Furys power ?

Only likes of AJ, Wilder will have a punchers chance against Usyk, Fury will be damaged and tired long before he hurts Usyk.

Probably at around 70% of the level when he beat Wlad, but that still seems to be enough to beat everyone else.

Will be a shame if his poor conditioning catches up with him and he loses to someone he definitely shouldn't (e.g. Whyte).

Do you know when Fury went out to Dubai?

I follow him on Instagram but I hadn't seen anything mentioned until a few hours ago.
