Supposedly Kal is back this year. Rumour is he’s targeting a run out then Charlie Edwards before aiming for a belt at bantam one Inoue moves up this year

Ben Whittaker has just signed with 258 Mgt as expected.

I presume he’ll sign with Boxxer but we will see. If he does I’d expect an announcement on either the Eubank Williams card or Khan Brook card (more likely Khan Brook).

Feel the Mccormacks made a big mistake just going for the biggest money deal with Probellum

Pat is making his debut in March on a Lewis Ritson card. But there's not been any press release with Mccormacks name in the title despite him being a Olympic Silver medalist elite amateur. Very low key so far, and no idea what TV channel it'll be on, could be freesports again!

Peter McGrail has joined Probellum along with his brother Joe.

Bit of a blow for Eddie after he had Peter on 2 of his bigger cards last year.

Surely they must have a TV deal on the way

I guess on the assumption this is all just money laundering they will be able to take less money from terrestrial tele to take their cards?

I don't see how if this isn't the case this is a good concept for young fighters.

Yeah, I think it was me that explained it nonsensical. Sorry about that. I think I did know what I was on about but I could be wrong

It’s another big signing for Probellum.

McGrail and McCormack were arguably the two most talented Olympians and two of the most talented to come through for many a year.

If you’re not sat up and taking note of Probellum well then it’s time to do so now. They’ve made some major moves.

Even if we’re not privy to the goings on. The fact the company is owned by Daniel Kinahans associates and the ownership or backers are slightly murky.

they have signed the majority of MTK fighters and are now hoovering up or collecting one of the strongest stables in boxing with relative ease. And all of this is being done with no tv deal which is the one finance driver in boxing and allowing boxers to sign for a company that has zero background.

If the Olympics had happened in 2020 and Matchroom still had the Sky deal I think they would have picked up all of these Olympians. The fact they got Yafai is more to do with the work they did with his brothers in my opinion than the offer on the table.

Probellum had said they would work with other promoters, I suspect similar to how MTK fighters have always done but to date they seem to want to grow their own brand by doing their own shows.

They were never with Matchroom. Matchroom simply put them on the Liverpool shows as local ticket sellers
