Name some fighters who are widely considered elite or world level who you suspect are done for.

    - Errol "Eyepatch" Spence. Pulling out of a huge money fight that he was a favorite in is a terrible sign for his career. Eye injuries tend to keep getting worse. Hope the Ugas fight proves me wrong.

    - Ryan Garcia. It seems like he's trying to keep his name out there and sell product for his sponsors. Campbell snatched his love of the game.

    - Demetrius Andrade. I think the moment has passed him (34 this month). He's waiting on the big fight that will not happen. There are no big names out there to cash out against and I think he'll be upset by a lesser known fighter before one comes along.

Sergio Martinez is on the downward slope now and he could slide right down it any day now

People keep saying this but I thought he looked basically fine last time out. It's not exactly a golden age at 160, there's no one out there to do the finishing.

I don't think it's ever too late to reinvent yourself after set backs and losses. People said toney, mosley, and donaire were finished at the top level, and even though they slipped out of the spotlight, they continued refining their craft and grinding, only to come back better.

Fury - turned down the offer of a 4 fight deal of Kauffman , Bellew Whyte and AJ as he vieweed it too tough and wanted 4 opponents of Seferi, Pianetta, Wallin, Schwarz and Kauffman level before cashing out against AJ. Hearn said he couldn't getaway with with such low level opposition for money that Fury wanted.

It's clear to see why Fury has gone the low level opponent route for so long now based on his peformances. Fury in his peformances against Sefrei, Pianetta, Wallin, Wilder 1 & 3 - its clear that he is no where near the level he was pre-retirment. Fury is much slower, footwork is much poorer, his overall defence is no where near what it used be and he is very hittable.

Fury has effectively "David Haye" people to believing he was the fighter he was. However Haye stepped up and fought a quality fighter in 3 fights upon his return. It's taken Fury to his 8th fight (that's if he doesn't pull out against Whyte) to finally fight a quality opponent.

Even though I'm an AJ fan.. AJ.

But no way we should give up on him yet. Even if he can't beat Usyk, there's no shame in that at all.

If AJ is only 3rd in the world, what's wrong with that? Has been involved in some big fights, was unified champion, never ducked anyone or made too many excuses. Sold out massive stadiums. Offered many brutal KO's.

Not an ATG, but definitely HOF.
