I like GGG but I think his days will be numbered. I still think he's the best at Middle but may only have a couple of fights at the highest level left in him. Fury also only has a couple of fights in him although not that old by today's standards has heavy mileage due to lifestyle. Spence is a question mark. I think we will have a better idea after his next fight to see whether his eye injuries are an issue. Joshua will depend on his next fight. if he loses it will be determined on the type of loss. if it's close then he can continue if not then he's made a lot of money and just got beaten by the better man. Wilder I never considered elite in the first place. I don't expect him to come back unless he goes back to fighting people like Martin. Beterbiev I think has a couple of years left. as he's always in good shape as long as he can avoid injuries should be fine.
Well Golovkin has been avoiding any serious competition for a while. He could have made fights with Charlo, Andrade or Eubank at any time but he's chose to sail a calmer course.
Um Fury was never good. He just ran because he was afraid to be hit and his best win besides beating Wilder was beating a faded Wlad in a boring fight.
It isn't, you're right. This thread is more for wild speculation. I'm seeing shades of Victor Ortiz. After the Campbell KD he's got a "I'm too young to be gettin' hit with them shots" vibe about him. Having 10m followers and many sources of revenue outside actually fighting will probably kill his career. Not seeing the hunger.
Usyk- his victory over Joshua cut his prime by 90 percent. Loma- Cant compete against guys like George Lopez. Fury- The beating he received against Wilder finished him. Bivol- Too feather fisted, he knows this so he isnt taking boxing seriously anymore. Gassiev- is too old now and has his eyes set on a career in Sumo Wrestling.
Disagree. Fury had a short prime in which he was very good and that was between Chisora 2 and the Wlad fight. Wilder his best win? Beating Wlad is far superior Nd I would say beating Chsiora in their second fight is more impressive.
Mikey Garcia - can't keep his fitness, seems no longer have target or passion, defeated by unknown mediocre boxer Gennady Golovkin - old age, can't no longer compete in top flight level Leo Santa Cruz - never have ambition to achieve more in the first place, seems enjoying his time of fighting mediocres Gary Russell Jr. - if being champion only makes him fight once a year, not sure if he would be interested to fight to climb up rank, not sure anybody would still want to watch him
