Holmes was definitely past it; imo it's debatable AJ was.

It's a good win by Spinks, but Holmes was on the decline here. He had a number of close fights prior to this fight and many people thought Williams got robbed against Holmes.

The writing was on the wall for Holmes. Holmes wasn't that big of a heavyweight and Spinks matched up well size wise. Usyk had to overcome a lot more size against a prime fighter.

Yes but Holmes' jab wasn't what it used to be, check out the Carl Williams fight.

Sometimes I wonder about that. I'm not even completely positive the Holmes who lost to Mike was any better at all than the one who beat Mercer and gave Holy a good fight...in fact, I doubt it.

It's not even close. spinks went up two weight classes and beat an undefeated all time great. Usyk put on maybe 10 pounds and beat a run of the mill belt holder who had already been dethroned by a diabetic who was just happy to be there

Holmes was pretty shot going in whereas Joshua was at his prime and held all but one HW belt. Joshua is a much harder puncher than Holmes was. The Holmes-Spinks fight was judged to be very close, whereas Usyk gave up significant height, reach and weight advantages and still dominated Joshua.
Usyk won in Joshuas backyard. Usyk overcame more disadvantages than Spinks did, although Spinks came up from LHW.
    Advantage Usyk.

It was not close spinks win 1st fight easy and joshua try to box usyk and holmes was 48-0 Undefeated that version was still better than one who beat Mercer

Usyk beat a prime (giant) HW champ. Spinks beat a faded former great. Let’s put it this way, the Usyk who beat AJ wouod destroy Spinks. Remember when Spinks **** himself before the Tyson fight? Usyk would give him a boxing lesson.

Young Larry would beat all of these guys but that’s not the guy Spinks beat. Prime Holmes would have Spinks crapping himself by the third round. Old Larry was still pretty good but not the elite fighter he once was.

I think your ignoring the simple fact as I explained in my post that Holmes was injured going into the first fight due to a slipped disc. and had great disconfort throwing the right. This explains why the rematch was a lot closer and many thought Holmes was robbed.
So your premise of outjabbing the best jabber is just factually wrong as the best jabber was badly compromised in that first fight.
I've now narrowed you down to one of three options as an Alt. as your writing style is distinct.

Interesting how the guy who had just been exposed in an embarrassing beat down and quit job loss to an unskilled blob of goo was the more prime fighter in your mind

Interesting how you skipped the part where AJ came back and easily dominated the tub of goo in the rematch.
