    Hagler said Duran had the quickest hands he`d ever faced, did Leonard have quicker hands? Would either of them make it to a list of top 10 middles with the quickest hands ever? Who were the the top 10 160 pounders withe quickest hands in boxing history?

    I’m guessing the top choices would include in some order:

    Roy Jr

    Ray Leonard

    Ray Robinson

    Michael Nunn

    Oscar de la Hoya

    Roberto Duran

    Thomas Hearns

    Saul Alvarez

    Maybe William Joppy? Gerald McClellan or Nigel Benn?

    I’m probably forgetting some quick-handed challengers, but you can see my list includes a lot of lighter-weight fighters who moved up to middleweight and still carried some speed.

    For once we can agree on this type of thing!

    The numbers of fast MWs and the differences between them will be enormous and minute respectively.

    I'd think of looking to guys who've moved up from lightweight and welterweight though, primarily.

    I can’t count Norris as a middleweight. He fought over 154 just three times — one pound over once, two pounds over once and 159 once. All toward the end of his career, and straight back to junior middle after each of those.

    I saw DelaHoya's name listed so Terry Norris at least fight effectively in the middleweight divisions.

    De la Hoya held a championship at 160, albeit a WBO one.

    Terry beat two trial horses above 154 and lost to Dana Rosenblatt for an IBO trinket and moved back down.

    I would say ( if SRL is counted as a genuine MW ) its between the 2 Rays, and gun to my head , would slightly favour Leonard. stay safe guys.
