On rewatching Crawford vs Brook. It was alarming to see just how terrible Brooks punch resistance was in that fight.

 

Low of Khan to bring racism into it. He doesn't need to do that. Some chair/water throwing would have sufficed.

I've no idea why Brook is desperate for Khan's respect. Come on Kell. Have some pride. He's literally begging for Khan to respect him.

The back and for between Bo Mac and Dom was good.

Adam Smith needs to shutup and let the boxers talk.

Ben Shalom still looks and acts like his dad has got him a week's apprenticeship at Sky Sports.

 

Not really mate it’s a bit of banter. I’ve got plenty of Yorkshire mates but doesn’t stop up us winding one another up.

Brook looks totally DEAD at the weight. Khan looking healthy. Brook will be good for a round or two then fade I reckon, Khan should be able to stay out of range for a few rounds then pepper him with fast shots, I can’t see Brook surviving the distance. Stopped in four with a jab off a lightweight = Shot fighter.

 

Seen Ben Shalom described as looking like "a competition winner" quite a lot.

100/1 on the fight ending in the first minute. I don't know about anyone else but given where both fighters are now at, you just get the feeling that something like could actually happen. You can see a glass jaw or a glass eye shattering as soon as the first meaningful punch lands.

 

I kind of have this feeling this is going to be like Garcia vs Khan

As long ad Brook's taking isn't shot, then I see him starting to tag / time Khan with the left hook.

The fact Khan's last fight was almost 3 years ago against Billy Dib isn't exactly confidence inspiring.

Even if Brook lost to Crawford he was at least winning rounds up until that point.

 

Its so strange. Brook has had a similar success level to Khan. Similar number of world title wins but less defeats and much less knockdowns/knock out defeats. He won a world title in the much tougher welterweight division, something Khan failed to do. And he had to earn his shot by becoming mamdatory and going on the road against a tough champion, the opposite of pampered amir.

He should have way more confidence. And theres a whole catalogue of things to troll Khan about, theres so much he could have said which he didnt.

I guess hes just a terrible talker and seems fragile mentally. Khan has trolled Brook, the way Mayweather trolled Khan for years.

 

I think Brook looks a lot better than he did against Crawford. He looked like a zombie at the scales then. Not by much but he seems healthier.
Time will tell.

Yeah well were was Eddie when Brook was fighting Crawford? Also Eddie said he won’t watch this fight. After all he and Brook went through and him being one of his first signings. He can’t even be bothered to watch. Also if Bellew didn’t land the Haye fights then he would still be paying a mortgage. It was Hayes name that made Bellew rich , not Eddie
