Would you favor any boxer at 130lbs and below to beat prime Lomachenko?

Thinking about it for a few minutes and I don't think I would. For me Loma is probably the best ever h2h at 130 and below, what about you people? Is there anyone in boxing history you'd favor to beat a prime Lomachenko at the specified weights?

I'd take Morales at 126 maybe Barrera as well. But at 130 lomachenko is a h2h monster for sure.

Not up on Lomo, to be honest, obvs a very good fighter, but not seen a lot of his fights, so you thinking he would beat Sandy Saddler around that weight ? if so, then he most be a very special fighter indeed. stay safe buddy.

Loma was very special at 130 and below, even at 135 he's an incredible boxer, he's just giving up a lot of size, around 7-8lbs in every bout at 135

    Pacquiao
    Morales
    Barrera
    Marquez

Pacquiao, Marquez, and Morales can stop Lomachenko.

He is quite formidable in this era.

Parachute him into Sandy Saddler's time with an old school ref though....

Nomas-chenko would have a much different connotation.

I don't see how Lomachenko copes with Pacquiao, TBH. He wouldn't be able to hurt Pacquiao, but Pacquiao would hurt him badly.

Loma is clearly great but he's not had many fights and not really beaten many ATG's. He's beaten the guys in his era who are clearly good but they're levels to this. If he fought in the era of Pacman. Morales. Marquez then we could get a better understanding against elite boxers. I mean Pacman was the smaller man when he moved up and was still smashing people at least a few divisions north. So it's a bit early at this point to make that comparison.

    Pacquiao
    Morales
    Barrera (maybe)
    Jmm

I think the top 2 would overwhelm him
He has a better chance with Marco and Juan, but I favour Marquez to time him and fight aggressively to a decision

That's just recent memory, there are more

I dont think Khaosai's concrete boots match him well here.

To stiff and selective with his shots.

He was very good physically but didn't have the unbridled aggressive swarming tactical approach I think a fighter like him would need to engulf an enigma wrapped in a paradox wrapped in the Matrix kind of slickster Loma can be.

Yeah that's a bad, bad match up for Loma. For me it wouldn't be if Loma can win it's if he can make it to the final bell. Loma would be out sped, out worked and he likes to press, you press against Pac you get Hatton'ed.

Loma's been great for his era that's undeniable but he hasn't fought in a particularly great era, I don't see Pac losing to Teofimo Lopez, I'm not even certain Loma beats MAB or Marquez let alone Pac in fact I'd bet money he'd lose to all 3. I think his movement would be problematic for Morales but then again Morales with his height, reach, jab and straight right has the tools to give southpaws problems as we saw in the first Pac fight.

Mayweather obviously would be a huge favourite, the Mayweather that dominated Corrales, schools Loma. Nothing I've seen from Loma makes me think he has the style to beat Mayweather.

Sandy Sadler as others have mentioned I feel would be a bad style match up for Loma. We saw how Salido roughed him up, Saddler was even tougher, rougher and far more skilled.

No need to go back in the history, I don’t see how he beats Pac at 126 or Floyd at 130.

The great boxing writer Peter Wilson once wrote of Saddler " of all the rough tough fighters I have seen , and I have seen plenty, the roughest and toughest was a flame haired feather weight called Joe " Sandy " Saddler " nuff said. stay safe guys.
