Khan should have asked for 147 not 149. Brook's team were crying over nothing really.
But surely the gloves would have been approved before they got to that stage... Ie, right before the fight..?
Yea but they can still cause a ruckus, they just wanted to draw attention to it clearly. I'd feel weird putting on non signed off gloves and causing a fuss in such a manner. Awkward. It would get weirder if nobody noticed which I guess is possible.
The camps choose several gloves that they're happy with. The commision sign off on them. What Brook wore in the was something he was happy with and had already chosen, albeit as his second preference.
