I know It may have been due to Khan having lost a lot of what he once had but Kell Brook looked class tonight. He looked sharp and confident like he used to. The question is now… Does he retire on a huge high or go for one more against Eubank and bow out beating TWO big British names in TWO huge British classics? I think Eubank Jr would be too big and strong for him but Brook is definitely the better boxer and could definitely outbox him, it just depends for how long.
The consensus will be ‘no’. Selfishly I wish he had been managed and had applied himself better. Should have been a star at 147 and now finishing off at 154. I still think he has one more fight at that weight . I actually think he gives Eubank trouble at 160. Look it’s pretty much the end but mental he’s still fighting at welter
It would be interesting to see him in one more at 154 but who is there really? No names spring to mind that would make for a huge fight with him. The champs would be too much for him. Eubank is the only huge British fight out there.
I thought he looked better than I was expecting tonight tbh but that could be cos khan was shot. Brooks days of fighting top fighters are done tho
On a health level, Kell should retire on the ultimate high. But business wise, let's call a spade a spade, he'll be offered a few million to his back account to fight the twat, eubank, so I can see why he'd take it. It's alot of money to say no to. I don't deny I'd watch him fight eubank junior, but I don't know if eubanks performances warrant brook fighting him. Brook comes to fight eubank comes to run. I don't know, maybe a Benn match up would be a bigger draw. It'd certainly be alot more entertaining that's for sure
Why does this even get talked about? Eubanks fought as high as super middle ffs, it's an unrealistic size difference.
kell makes Eddie drag benn to 154 pointing out he made him double that to face a monster school benn over 12 then fight eubank as a sunset fight at 160 money money money
I’d actually pick Brook to beat Benn, notice how desperate Eddie was for Benn-Khan… wasn’t very vocal about putting him in against Brook
