Great to see from khan tbf. Hes annoyed me no end throughout his career after the whole country became fans due to his fantastic olympic performance. But i think essentially he was always gonna be a better amatuer and had to hide it out to a certain extent. Like when he almost cried and tried to get out of fighting maidana because he was a bit of a puncher. I think a lot of it was his advisors/coaches who knew deep down he was a flawed fighter. Glad to see it over for him tho...in terms of his long term health etc. Hes actually allright amir...incredible speed and you,ve got to take your hat off to him for going to america and putting in the graft. He was a decent fighter under roach...but the speed...got him to a level he was a bit of a danger to himself at with his lack of ring iq etc. Deserves plaudits in retirement when alls said and done tho.
Nope. It's not unusual for hostile rivals to share a laugh over a thing or two. Politics has proven that for over a century.
Really good to see them both respectful after having bad blood for years. Thought Khan was out of order for some of the things he's said about Kell over the years and you could tell last night's win meant so much to Kel. Props to Khan in the way he's taken the defeat. Wilder would do well to take a leaf out of his book
