After all the big talk from Khan beforehand and hype before the fight I thought Khan’s performance was an embarrassment. He needs to retire and stop milking the gullible public.
No, an embarrassment would have been him looking for a way out after being badly hurt in the first. He hung in there and took a lot of punishment when he knew he had nothing in his arsenal to turn the tide. He was gutsy and that's not embarrassing...
He's been shot since 2018, I don't think anyone was that surprised, how have you turned this into "he's betraying the public"...?
I agree. There was a air of desperation from Khan from the start. Desperate situation as we've seen many times with Khan. Bambi on ice from the first jab! He was atrocious and clumsy. All that trash talk for years, to be humiliated from start to finish like that! Brook has claimed the soul of Khan
He took a beating but I get what you're saying. He talked alot of trash and this one will eat at him for years.
So is Brook. An aged Brook DESTROYED Khan Khan may have been the best trash talker of the two, but he was certainly never the better fighter. #levels After all that talk beforehand. he was RATTLED with every punch, in a huge mismatch.
lol Khan will never live this down. It was a destruction, a humiliation. Everybody saw why Khan was running from Brook for 10 years,
thought doesn't overcome physical realties. Ali thought he could beat Holmes, he clearly couldn't. Boxing is in the mind. The reality only started to hit Khan on his ring walk, He should have knew early in camp with Bo Mac he was too shot to win this fight. He was relying on Brook being drained & shot which he was neither! Khan has already lived this loss down. Their "hate" for each other wasn't really great, they just riled each other up as rivals do...this is a sport. Only haters like to live on the idea that someone can't deal with a loss. Wilder is the only guy so far who is having problems with that.
I agree he showed a lot of guts, not going down, fightng back and hanging in there. But it was a horrible version of Khan. It was sad to see him come into the ring in that kind of condition. He's capable of so much better, even at this age.
Brook is the better fighter. AND did the weight correctly. The closeness of this fight hinged on how Kell’s punch resistance was when getting down to that weight. Happy for him he did it well and beat him down
Brook looked good against Crawford, it was the punch resistance, which happened in 2021. Khan has been shot for YEARS now. And for Olu, I get you hate Khan, so why spill it into your post? Just say you hate the lad and move on.
