I hope that is true. He's given more than enough entertainment in the ring, he well deserved those kind of readies
Eubank has made himself a clown in all of this.... Only the other week he's saying he wants to become a world champion this year so is chasing the belt holders. Then he's calling out a 35 year old Kell Brook and trying to bring him up to MW. Embarrassing.
Eubank has always been about the money and nothing else, no real ambition or care for who he fights, just the biggest pay day for the easiest days work. He's 33 this year has has never challenged for a world title. He's made a fool out of himself talking about fighting Golovkin every 5 minutes- something which anyone that follows the sport closely knows at this stage in 2022 is farcical. He said on Sat that him vs Brook is a fight 'the fans really want to see'. Delusion, greed , and lack of self awareness which even in this sport stands out.
I don’t think Brook should fight Eubank Jnr bad matchup for him . I would have also thought that Eubank Jnr was a bit more ambitious in his opponents if he ever hopes of winning a credible world championship.Brook v Connor Benn at 154 I suppose would generate cash and is winnable for Kell . I would also guess that Eddie Hearn would be drooling about promoting it.
I wouldn't be against Brook vs Benn. Would be a another big pay day and if Brook was to beat both Khan and Benn he his final two fights it would a very positive end to his career.
I’ve always quietly rooted for young Eubank, but watching him sniff around Brook vs Khan has put me right off.
You needed that to see what everyone else has been seeing for a decade? Saying that, a lot of people jumping on the bandwagon on this forum since the Sky and Boxxer push.
It’s probably his rivalry with an actual bonafide scumbag in Saunders that made me root for him. Eubank is just a bit of a tit.
Brook has no business fighting eubank. The benn fight is winnable and sells so I’d like to see that one. I think Hearn is protecting benn though to an extent, fighting has beens and gatekeepers so far
