    Klitschko by far.

Carnera was a manufactured product that was technically correct but he was not a natural fighter and relied on size and power to get the W.

Marciano was the real deal, a real pitbull, and I think his skills are underrated. However he often had come from behind kos where the opponent was better in the skills department but not so good in the stamina and grit department.

Vitali is as mean as a badger with a toothache himself and he has both the size and the skills to back it up. He usually dominated his fights and his ungainly style seems like it would be a liability until you actually saw him in there whitewashing guys. Vitali is the best fighter of the three.

Depends on what you mean. If you think about P4P, then Marciano is by far the best, most skilled fighter of this group. Nobody else is particulary close.

If you talk in absolute terms, then probably Vitali should be first because of massive size advantage. It's closer than in the first case, but still clear for me.

Carnera is clearly the last anyway. He was a good fighter, but limited one who relied on his size. Vitali also did that, but he was better at taking advantage of it.

Primo was one of the worst heavyweight champs in histoy, most former cruiser weights would have beaten him if they fought in his era.

    Pfp Marciano

H2H Klitschko demolishes both of them because Marciano is just a big light heavyweight in todays era and Primo sucks

I’d say overall however in terms of skills the most well rounded of them would be Carnera.

Rocky Marciano was easily the greatest of the three.

Vitally Klitschko probably the most dangerous head to head.

Primo Carnera was the best from a technical standpoint.

    They all have something.

He was good every dimension of a fight inside and out he looked like a champion.

@cross_trainer you are remaining oddly quiet. Don’t be too preoccupied with your blue berries.

lol, Vitali would have boxed Primo`s ears off and Lewis would have stopped Primo in the 1st.

Anyway, if by better overall fighter you mean purely head to head at heavyweight, I'd pick Klitschko over Marciano.

Marciano was a better fighter in a pound for pound sense, however, by a lot.

As to greatness, there's no real contest, but I don't get the sense you're asking about that.

Marciano by skills and record. Not sure why Primo is in the discussion but to each their own.
