Thanks for the clarification. That goes some way to explain your postings.

Yeah, I'm doubtful theres anything even remotely nice or humble about the Tartan Tornado, especially in the run up to fight week.

He's usually got the kunt in him at the best of times and that's why I like him. He's a fighter FFS, not a ballroom dancer!

Yeah. It makes it quite clear that he's obviously just interested in fighting the best fighters out there rather than padding out his record and trying to create a false media persona so he can get on deoderant adverts or Strictly Come Dancing.

Friend of a friend was on a night out with him and said the whole night he (and his gf) were getting into scraps.

I boxed at the same amateur club as Jack and he’s punched my head more times than I care to remember. He’s very very good. I’d love Jack to win, it would be massive for the town, my biggest reservation is that Jack hasn’t gone through the levels and would have benefited from stepping up a couple of times prior to this, maybe to a European and then top 15 guy.

That said, the situation is what it is and the title shot is now.

Jack’s a good boxer, very technical and defensively sound. I think Taylor is that bit special though and his experience at world level is going to tell and make the difference. I see a lot of value in Josh Taylor to win on points - I really can’t see it being the blowout everyone is expecting but I was wrong last week so who knows!

Could have sworn he said the c*** word the first few times Sky played the clip.

I was going to run it past my wife who hails from that area but if your sure it is clown then that makes more sense.

That is how I see it. I think Jack has been badly promoted. After beating several British rivals he should have got such fights, as he earned those step ups.

Taylor will batter him. Catterall is decent. One of them who does everything well but nothing brilliant. I think Taylor is class though and will be just far too much.

I know what NED is because of ‘Still Game’. One of the funniest things ever. I didn’t know what it stood for until the other week though haha.

Think Catterall will be quite cagey and Taylor will breeze to a wide points win.

Yeah he’s been put in some strange fights, Tyrone McKenna in Belfast with Jack as the replacement was a weird one, as well as the Ohara Davies fight when he got that.

That said, when Jack was trained by Lee Beard he had some fantastic sparring - Mayweather and Canelo in the states and Khan and Brook in the UK.

Of course it’s different in a fight, and at this level it’s the finest of margins that matter. Taylor knows how to steal rounds in a close fight, and I can see him winning the majority of rounds (8 or 9) despite them all being fairly competitive rounds. I don’t think it’ll be a fun fight to watch, one for the purists probably.

I think Josh will absolutely batter Jack.

Just checked out the undercard on Boxrec. It’s absolutely horrendous, maybe the worst ever.

Still building a stable to be fair to them. At least they’re putting on good main events. The undercards will come when they add more fighters to their stable.

Plenty of free agents or fighters with smaller promoters they could give fights to in competitive match ups.
