The Olympic gold medal simmer in Toyko has great size, speed, and power. He has skills too. Questions like most young heavies are how good is his chin is. Well as an amateur he was down is two fights but never knocked out, and got of the deck of a good chin checker.

You can check his fights here both amateur and professional.

With these guys it's all about whether they get the chance. It was good for him that that there were notable American and British Super HWs in the Olympics so he got some attention and we can only hope his career will have momentum.

All these guys in the last two olympic cycles seem to just fade into bolivian. Even the prospects with some hype didn't pan out. If you didn't have SOME kind of profile in 2012, you're a nobody at HW right now. Very odd.

He has a chance, and maybe Hrgovic really is the heir apparent. I'm not sure. Something just seems off about all these new HW's. Maybe they lack athleticism. You can watch the feet and snappy punches of Vlad in the ams and just tell he has "it". I don't get that with this new crop.

A lot of good points here, I think we're coming up on era of heavy feet.

But really I'm just dying at "fade into bolivian." That about sums up what I did 2010-2015.

For me he needs a proper promotional outfit to build him. Sign with Matchroom or Top Rank and get 3-4 fights in this year.

he’s currently signed to Di Bella with no tv deal and fighting on probellum shows that are viewed by about 10k people

I read somewhere that he wants to fight predominantly in the Middle East in Muslim countries to build a following there. But just feel that he needs to build a profile as he’s definitely talented

I really like him. He should have not signed up with dibella big disaster. He can easily win a belt even now. I wonder how good his chin is?

Craziness really. Dibella has been trying to use some of his fighters for a while to obtain tv deals. He’s been touting Kambosos around in order to get dates for his stable. Seems he’s given up and decided to tie himself in with the drug kingpin
