And he'll gladly fight Teo when he's ready and earned his shot against Taylor. Until then Taylor doesn't owe Teo nothing.
what do they have in common? that they have fought nobodies? If that, then I'm guilty. I'm curious. Did I lie when I said "everyone but teo"? dont kill the messenger, man.
It's so funny that he has to "earn" his shot, and at the same time he would be the best victory in taylor's resume. Uh! I'm sure cateral deserves it more than teo, right? come on, guys! give me a break.
Josh Taylor is a ****ing quality fighter....... can box and have a fight. Spiteful as well. Looking forward to watching him this weekend in another good fight
Catterall is his mandatory, he HAS to fight him. But you already knew that, didn't you? You just don't like Taylor.
yes, I knew it. That's true. But tell me only one person better than teo in this division and that taylor has not fought.
No I think it's just funny that you know so little. Catterall has always been the mandatory guy. In fact he was paid step-aside money to let Taylor and Ramirez fight first and then face the winner of that fight. Again, Teo had his chance to try and challenge Taylor but blew it when he got beat by Kambosos. He said the same exact thing to Devin Haney and Tank giving excuses why he shouldn't have to fight them yet and how they need to earn that shot against him. He's been nothing but all talk and now that he got beat he has to be the one to get back in line and EARN his shot like a man. Gotta walk the talk.
I'm sure that matías, or any other low IQ/bum/mediocre fighter in this trash division is better than teo, right? Anyway, as I said I know my opinion is unpopular so it does not make much sense to continue the argument. I will be very glad if taylor goes up to welter and kicks every elite fighter's ass in this division, I love good fights. I'll root for him vs spence, and against him vs crawford. As I said, I dont dislike that guy (plus he's anti-lockdowns, that's a HUGE +1 for him imho), but I need more than that to say that a fighter is p4p worthy. Looking forward to watching him shutting my mouth up. I have been asking crawford for doing so for a long time, I dont know why I should not do the same with taylor. Specially when crawford imho passed the eye test way better than taylor. EDIT: as you, guys, can understand I cannot write here that crawford needs to step up to be taken seriously and just after that say that taylor is p4p material with way way worse resume than crawford.
Real boxing fans know exactly who is. He hasn’t yet had that fight to put him out to a wider audience but he’s the realest fighter we’ve got here in the UK. Get him up to 147 and that Crawford or Spence fight will get more people taking notice.
You're basically picking and choosing who you think is considered trash/bum. Are you really saying that Jose Ramirez and Regis Prograis were bums? He's beaten every fighter put in front of him including undefeated fighters. And what's really considered passing the "eye test" for you? Does Taylor not show enough skills to impress you or are you just nitpicking his style? There's a good reason why he's an undisputed champion and a well respected fighter.
I'm not saying ramirez and prograis are bums. I'm saying that they are "just good", not elite fighters. Someone you beat in between huge fights. The kind of fighter canelo/mayweather/pacman/ward/kovalev/cotto or even prime thurman beats the crap out when he's bored and waiting for a megafight. Just good fighters. Flanagan is a bum. From toes to head, that guy's boxing is horrible. And it is on top of guys like flanagan were guys like prograis or zepeda build their records. taylor's skills didnt impress me, right. That's my problem. I dont think his boxing is good enough to consider him p4p material (even though he's probably one of the best, if not the best figther in UK with Fury permissions). I tell you that I thought the same about froch, and he shut my mouth up savagely. I can be wrong, ofc. Actually, I would say that I am wrong so many times that if not because I love to write here I should stfu. But I love talking about boxing, either I'm right or wrong, I dont care. If I'm right, I'm right. If I'm not, I learn. Froch taught me a freaking lot about boxing. What I will never do is to lie because my opinion is unpopular, though. I prefer to be wrong and humilliated in front of everybody rather than writing here something I dont really think in that moment.
