Must regret it now. Nice check but rep has a bigger dent.

Only idiots would think Floyd would duck Khan who would be an easy fight with a guaranteed knockout.

Well, a high percentage of observers had Khan picked coming into this fight. Kell was the one widely deemed too damaged/vulnerable. Even I, a long-time Brook supporter (i.e., I go far enough back to remember when Coldwell was his trainer for a spell), had my doubts up until fight week largely evaporated my misgivings re. Kell's condition and morale.

See this despicable comments in the video from Khan about Brook as it will help explain part of Brook’s vengeance on Khan:

I disagree. I don't think Fury has ever seen himself as being at odds with the British public, notwithstanding the traveller stigma. He embraces them, revels among them.

Yes, the establishment here had/has it in for him.

That said, I think the glove switch sustained the beating. I suspect the replacements were more padded than Wilder's record...

I agree. Khan came up with every excuse in the world for why Brook wasn't worth his time and wasn't on his level, although most of the boxing world knew that the likely outcome would be Khan being face planted. Then when Khan finally decided he needed one last cash grab he takes the fight and gets beat from pillar to post from the opening bell. It was embarrassing and fitting.

Khan will be lucky if he isn’t on soft food and 24hr care in a couple years, like Biden. We knew he was shot before the last fight, years ago but people wanted it and they got it. Khan was a good fighter a very long time ago. I can barely remember but that’s another story. I’m sure Khan can’t remember when he was good either.

In the end, Khan gave boxing fans several spectacular knockouts. Who cares if he was on the receiving end. It was good entertainment. Hope he retires for good this time. It’s painful to watch.

Can you pinpoint this "establishment" is?

He's had his PED usage covered up, he has verbally abused any type of person who doesn't follow his beliefs (Jews/Homosexuals etc), he went back on his agreed contract with Vlad and tried it with Wilder (so he's a rip-off type guy-like for example the Rogue builders who take payment for an agreed contract and scam the customer, just wilder didn't let him get away)
He conned the public with the AJ talks, contradicts himself every 2 minutes, has the biggest mouth and ego in boxing....yet the media are loving him.

You missed the trial by legacy media that buried him for the better part of three years? BBBofC had it in for Fury for a long time prior to that, too.

Has he? Fury's positive results were bizarrely dredged up almost eighteen months after the test in question, oh-so coincidentally smack dab in the middle of a media witch-hunt over his grievous wrongspeak, long after UKAD had seemed quite happy to accept his explanation on the nandrolone, long after he had gone on to fight in a whole other bout (for the championship of the world, no less), and with no prior correspondence from UKAD to the Fury camp to suggest it was an ongoing matter after the initial discussions in early 2015.

It's worth noting, also, that UKAD subsequently accepted the proposal of a backdated ban in order to prevent themselves being annihilated and ruined in court — this was an utterly risible non-punishment for supposed wrongdoing, since Fury had proved unable to box between December 2015 and December 2017 anyway, on account of his personal issues.

And the establishment tried to bury him for it. That is, for voicing some opinions.

That campaign succeeded for a while, though ultimately failed, because he made a hugely successful comeback to the sport (which has been largely staged in the US), during which he's swerved the particular controversies that dogged him six years ago, so they have been obliged to cover his achievements. But the knives are ready and waiting, sharp and glistening.

See above. The various storms encircling him in 2016 killed that bout.

In his defence, Wilder III was taking an eternity to get finalized and there were big question marks over whether public interest was significant enough after the one-sided drubbing Wilder received in the return bout.

Fight happened, anyway, and Wilder got smashed (possibly never to return).

Pure BS. First you state that he was trying to escape from his Wilder III contract — which appeared to be the case, as he was negotiating with Hearn/Joshua — then you state that he was putting everyone on in the negotiations with Hearn/Joshua. Which is it? You can't have both. Pick one.

More fool anyone who hangs on every bit of bait Fury hangs out there.

    I'll restate;

yep. he was awful. got bullied and outclassed from start to finish. didnt give his all and proper go for it. brook wanted it far more

after all that trash talk for years before. saying Brook wasn't worth his time and wasn't on his level, (although most of the boxing world knew that the likely outcome would be Khan being face planted). when Khan finally decided he needed one last cash grab he takes the fight and gets beat from pillar to post from the opening bell. It was embarrassing and very fitting.

if youre gonna talk as much as khan did , your putting yourself on that platform to be ridiculed, dont sit there belittling a guy for years and then basically do nothing. stay silent if you know you cant deliver.
