How would Floyd have done against the Brook that beat Porter?

I think Floyd wins a comfortable UD. Everything that Brook does well, Floyd does better.

Floyd by UD with Kell having his moments in the first half. After the first half it’s all Floyd.

You got it right. Brook is a brilliant boxer and was at the top of his game back then but everything he could do Floyd could do better. Kell’s style, as good as it was, was tailor made for Floyd. Standing in front of him and trying to outbox Floyd was not the way to go… I actually think Khan in his prime would have caused Mayweather more problems.

Brook would do well in a fair fight. Let's not act like Floyd didn't cherrypick or stack the deck heavily in his favour.

Brooks bigger, stronger, has some decent straight punches and has good timing. As long as he's not weight drained like Corralles he has a good chance.

Chances are though Floyd would only choose him the way Crawford chose Brook

    Floyd wouldn't go near him.

    Or he'd ask for a CW of 145 & 12oz gloves.

Reckon Brooks win over Porter was better than either of Floyds over Maidana's around that time. Don't think Mayweather was overly keen on Brook. Could have unified all the belts with but choose Berto instead.

Floyd ducked him. That said, Brook isn't a high volume or fast guy, so he'd be competitive, but he'd lose.

Brook was a great talent that could of been so much more he would've been competitive with Floyd but I would see Floyd winning a 116-112 type of fight.
