Has to be those two and I’d lean Wilde but wouldn’t argue with anyone who said Lewis.

Ok mate, but sometimes Favs can get in the way of reason and having a open mind, have done it myself.

Does Turpin have the best single win of the Brits?

Yes I believe he does, beating SRR alone , gives him that accolade .
    Buchanan/ Laguna, very good.
    Kid Lewis/ Britton " " "
    Mcguigan/ Pedroza " " "
    Stracey/ Napoles " " "
    But SRR....... stay safe guys.

Gotta be Lennox Lewis cos he beats any British pro boxer who ever lived and put on a pair of gloves in a boxing match. There is no other British boxer ever that can make such a claim like that.

Well, he does have a very sizeable advantage over 99.9+%.

    1-2 Jimmy Wilde/Bob Fitzsimmons
    3-4 Ted Kid Lewis/Freddie Welsh
    5-6 Lennox Lewis/Jim Driscoll
    7-9 Ken Buchanan/Joe Calzaghe/Benny Lynch
    10-11 Jack Berg/Owen Moran

Conteh definitely had the talent but lacked the discipline. Winstone was excellent too, better than Hamed/Eubank/Benn IMO. If Boza-Edwards counts then he might be pushing top 10.

    But the third was Australian!

I miss here Nelson and Benn, possible also Hatton (for top 15). All could be ahead of Driscoll.
