Im going to just judge him on his boxing skills rather than on his opinions and beliefs. The fact he is Scottish makes me appreciate him all the more

I expect it to be fairly close for 4 or 5 rounds before Josh starts to wear him down. Have to say i was a tad worried about how Taylor looked a little drained at ydays weigh in. Looking forward to it 2nite

I won’t be surprised if Catterall pulls off the upset.

Taylor is the furthest thing from a paper champ in the sport currently. Only Canelo has every major belt in a division and Taylor cleaned out a stronger division.

JT is the complete antithesis of a paper champ. A paper champ would be someone who cherrypicked the actual paper belt from the actual paper champ before immediately dropping it and hightailing back down to defend their other paper belt in the division below instead of hanging around to take on the real champ, whilst continuing to duck and avoid the real champ and elite down at that weight too I might add.

And Brit Level warrior and paper champ is an oxymoron. Just last week we saw not one but two have gloves will travel fearless Brit Level warriors in Khan and Brook who took on the best and the elite for fun and we're about to be treated to seeing another one tonight.

Make sure you got a big box of popcorn because Brit Level domestic dust ups are the envy of the boxing world. We just built different and made out of the strong stuff.

I physically resemble the Tartan Tornado myself. Same coloring. I'm about a half inch taller than Taylor. Both weigh in the 150s after hydration. Both very lean and low bodyfat. Not the biggest guys around either. I'm 1 year younger than the Taylor. We are both southpaws too.

But that's where it ends. My boxing skills are light years behind. And I definitely cant deliver or absorb a blow like him.

I had really wanted to see Taylor against Matias, Prograis, Zepeda and Lopez before moving up, but he looked awful at the weigh in. I'd rather him move up straight after this fight.

JT has definitely really grown bigger at the weight since parting way with McGuigan and hooking up with his new S&C team and a nutritionist. He came in at 149 against Alfonso Olvera (weighed in at 142) five years ago and McGuigan said he was coming in about 3 or 4lbs more than than when he was with him IIRC and the Sky commentary team said Rougarou weighed significantly more than him for their day of the fight weigh in. But he did look really bad at the weigh in yesterday. I know he blew up a lot and looked by far the biggest I've ever seen him after suffering the knee injury.

He definetly looked umcomfortable making 140, a bone to chew for the “weight bully” idiots.

Anyways, Crawford vs Taylor late 2022, fight for p4p supremacy between 2 of the handful undisputed champs in the recent years, let’s go!
